Every day I'm faced with the same decision when entering the studio.  Desk or easel, easel or desk?  If it were left to my heart alone, the desk would be draped in cobwebs.

Among my newsletter/blog subscribers are some very sophisticated art collectors, so today I am addressing how fine art's provenance can profoundly influence its value.

This is silly (but still within the perimiters of my personality).  I came up with the idea while on the treadmill at the gym.  I usually pick up one of their gossip magazines hoping to sufficiently anesthetize myself from the boredom of walking half an hour without realizing a destination.
